How to inspect static equipment (scrubbers, alkali tanks)

Hello everyone, I’m a complete novice in this field. I’d like to ask those who are more experienced: my supervisor gave me some drawings and asked me to inspect the washing tower and the alkali tank according to those drawings. What other aspects should I consider when conducting the inspection? I really appreciate it if anyone with experience can help me!
Cylinder straightness, ellipticity, perpendicularity, cylinder thickness, head thickness, dimensions of pipe connection positions, orientation of pipes, and whether there are cracks, undercuts, or other defects in the weld appearance
Visual inspection, dimensions, factory documentation, etc
