Tables 7 and 9 in the standard only provide data for levels 7 to 9

Clause 1.0.4 of GB50761-2012, the \"Code for Seismic Design of Steel Equipment in Petrochemical Industries\", specifies that \"petrochemical equipment located in areas with a seismic design intensity of 6 degrees or a design basic seismic acceleration of 0.05g or higher must be designed for seismic resistance.\" Meanwhile, Clause 3.1.3 states that \"in areas with a seismic design intensity of 6 degrees or a design basic seismic acceleration of 0.05g or less, it is not necessary to perform calculations related to seismic forces on the equipment, but seismic resistance measures must still be satisfied.\" According to the NB/T47041-2014 standard, seismic calculations are performed only when the seismic design intensity is 7 degrees or higher.

The seismic resistance is only 7 to 9; values below 7 are too low and not considered, while values above 9 are too high and cannot withstand the forces. Tower vessels should ideally be designed to withstand seismic forces, as the materials contained within them are usually toxic or flammable and explosive.
