Due to the poor heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger between the raw water and the purified water, the temperature of the purified water exiting the device is high; the temperature of the raw water entering the tower is 85 degrees. Due to the replacement of the core, the heat exchange efficiency improved significantly. The temperature of the raw water entering the tower was 107 degrees, and the operation of the tower remained normal; however, the specific consumption dropped from 120 to 60. As a result, the ammonia nitrogen level in the purified water was not up to standard. After thorough investigation of the causes, a bypass line for the heat exchanger was activated, which reduced the temperature of the raw water to 85 degrees, and the ammonia nitrogen level in the purified water became acceptable! Is it feasible to increase the reflux rate if the feed temperature remains unchanged?
What does this unit consumption refer to? Additionally, the issue of unsatisfactory ammonia nitrogen levels seems to have little to do with the top temperature of the tower; as long as the bottom temperature remains above 110°C, ammonia nitrogen can basically be removed.
