Why can’t BKP files be uploaded? It’s related to Aspen simulations of concentrated sulfuric acid absorbing sulfur trioxide gas – does anyone know the reason?
There is too much liquid phase; the gas phase contains no inert components. After absorption, no gas phase remains, and thus a dry plate is formed
It doesn’t work; even by reducing the liquid flow rate, it remains the same
Generally, the Ma*mun iterations on the Blocks|Absorber|Convergence|Basis page are set to 200; in the left column of the Blocks|Absorber|Convergence|Advanced page, the value of No for the first option, Asorber, is changed to Yes. The same settings are applied to both absorption towers and stripping towers.
