The issue of tray efficiency setting in catalytic cracking absorption towers.

As the title suggests, should it be set to overall tower efficiency, vaporization efficiency, or Moffat efficiency? Should the experience value be set by working backwards based on the actual separation effect?
Overall tower efficiency is more meaningful for design purposes； Moffat efficiency has theoretical significance. For the overall tower efficiency, there are corresponding empirical formulas available for calculation purposes in design; however, to determine the exact efficiency, experimental measurement is still necessary. This is my current understanding.
