What is the reason for the sudden filling of Absorber Tower 2 in the catalytic cracking absorption and stabilization system? To rule out issues with the instrument pump? It is the true value.
Tower flooding began; as the vapor phase decreased, all the liquid at the top moved to the bottom of the tower.
How could the tower get flooded suddenly? Please provide a detailed explanation!
At first, the gas load is high, and the liquid accumulates in the upper part of the tower; as the gas volume decreases, the liquid from the upper part flows downward, filling the bottom of the tower.
Were there any signs? How can one predict in advance?
Thank you! Sometimes it happens without any warning at all; there are no changes in flow rate or temperature, yet the tank gets full, and then a series of adverse reactions occur!
