The feed temperature, flow rate, and properties remain unchanged, the reciprocating pump is operating properly – so why doesn’t the temperature rise during tower preheating? What if it’s processed? I would like to ask the experts! The main oil and gas valve still can’t get stuck
If adjustment via the oil and gas butterfly valve is not possible, preheating must be carried out in the vent tower through the vapor line of the oil rejection tank. The key is to control the pressure in the distillation tower properly; the preheating speed should not be too fast, and significant temperature fluctuations must be avoided. Once preheating is successful, the distillation system should be improved promptly. If it is changed to a vent tower, problems with poor flow will also occur. The system should be removed and the process re-established with steam.
Do you mean to drain oil to the vent tower to release low-pressure gas? Can the torch withstand that then?
Don’t we just change the tower once it’s preheated to the desired temperature?

Verify whether the back route is unobstructed. It’s been 4 years since I left the coking plant, and I can’t remember some things anymore.

The temperature at the bottom of the tower is around 210, while it’s around 280 at the top; the conditions for cutting off the tower are not met
Check whether the oil condensed in the preheating tower is drained in a timely manner, and whether the purge steam for feed line bypassing is turned off.
