Is it okay to vent C2 from the vapor phase deethanizer into the C4 MTBE feedstock?

Here, C2 cannot be sent to the catalytic unit, nor can it be used in the flare; can it be diverted to the C4 feedstock used for MTBE? What impact does it have on subsequent operations of MTBE?
It won’t work; MTBE cannot handle it, and it will also cause an increase in system pressure. In the end, a flame torch will still be necessary, which is not worth it.
It cannot be converted to MTBE feedstock, and C2 does not participate in the MTBE reaction either; it still needs to be removed in the end. One could consider having a dedicated tank to store C2, which can then be sold after recovery.
Releasing it into the MTBE plant is unsafe.
What is done with component C2 in the later stages, and what is its market price?
The C2 here is nothing but ethane and ethylene, which are mainly used as fuel gas
The emission of ethylene and ethane into MTBE can cause the system pressure to rise above normal levels, making operation difficult. It will eventually be released, resulting in material loss.
Go to the dry gas desulfurization system and burn it as fuel gas. C2 is a non-condensable gas.
