Cold feed is introduced at the top of the tower, while hot feed is introduced at the 9th tray. Under unchanged other conditions, if the C2 content in the liquefied gas is high (i.e., to improve the desorption effect), how should the ratio of cold to hot feed be adjusted?
Use a little less cold feed – just a bit is enough; there’s no need for much
High temperature and low pressure are favorable for resolution; this is the principle.
Increase the bottom temperature of the tower and raise the proportion of hot feed
Generally, in summer, the cooling flow rate is increased to lower the temperature at the top of the tower
Reduce cold feed and increase hot feed
