This is the first time I have encountered salt formation in a catalytic absorption tower. Salt deposition occurs in related processes such as the absorption tower, air cooling of compressed rich gas, and condensate oil tanks. Inspection of the pump filter revealed salt deposits, and there was a high pressure drop in multiple pipelines. Has any expert encountered this as well? I’d like some advice.

I’ve never seen salt blocks this hard, let alone ones used in absorption stabilization systems
Is there salt formation in the distillation system? It should be an ammonium salt; it doesn’t seem like these salts were formed as a result of a reaction. It’s caused by acidic water; what other corrosion inhibitors have you added to your system? I hope you can provide more detailed instructions for the operation, which will help me conduct an analysis.
Does your acidic water go into the stabilization system?
I have encountered salt buildup in absorption towers; one possible reason is that the amount of water used for air cooling is insufficient, and the other is the cleaning process carried out in the absorption tower
