The DN3400 methanol column in Unit B of the 500,000 tons/year DME methanol plant in Anhui Haoyuan New Area has completed its reduction process and is now waiting to be fed with gas. The process software package for this device was developed by Nanjing Dunxian Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.; it is also Dunxian Company’s first large-scale low-pressure methanol plant set to go into operation. Design pressure of the synthesis system: 7.0 MPaG; designed production capacity: 350 kt/a; operating time: 7200 hours; operating pressure: 6.0–6.5 MPaG; operating flexibility: 40–105%; system operating resistance: <0.4 MPa.
