Does the dimer go with water or with hydrocarbons in the water wash tower?

In the butadiene extraction unit, the solvent acetonitrile contains butadiene dimer; part of the acetonitrile is extracted and sent to the wash tower. In the wash tower, does the dimer go to the bottom of the tower along with water and acetonitrile, or does it go to the top of the tower along with the hydrocarbons?
It flows out of the alkyne washing tower; if the process downstream is the liquefaction of fuel gas, then there is no impact. However, if alkyne hydrogenation takes place further downstream, some of the dienes will participate in the reaction to form monoenes, while the remaining portion will serve as C5 components for incineration
