Phase 2 of the country’s largest oil refining and chemical processing facility is now being commissioned, and large-scale equipment procurement is about to begin. We are seeking high-quality large and medium-sized suppliers with a track record of working for Sinopec or CNPC, located near ports to facilitate sea transportation. Equipment weighing over 80 tons, with a diameter of 6 meters and a length of 80 meters, should be able to be transported by roll-on/roll-off vessels. Suppliers should have substantial financial resources, strong manufacturing capabilities, and a large workforce (including at least 30 certified welders), as well as licenses for the design and production of special equipment (A1/A2). These are already on the shortlist for Phase 1 of Zhejiang Petrochemical. I guess many suppliers from the first phase are not interested in participating in the bidding for the second phase, so they intend to find another group of ‘sacrificial’ candidates.
I guess so too; in fact, there are quite a number of factories along the Yangtze River that meet such requirements

Zhejiang businessmen are known as the “Jews of China,” but in the petrochemical industry, reciprocity is essential; after all, it’s not a one-time deal. Integrity and reasonable profits are the fundamental principles for the coexistence of both parties involved.
Is it the owner’s low price or the issue with payment?
It is said that the more one does, the more losses one incurs.
Agree with what was said on floor 9; the prices and payment terms are simply too harsh. A loss-making deal.
Manufacturing plants are in a very difficult situation; they are exploited by both suppliers and customers. Steel mills do not owe any debts, and shipments are made only after payment has been received. As for clients, they set extremely harsh payment terms and find various excuses to avoid making payments. Many manufacturing plants end up having to finance their operations out of their own funds, which eventually leads to the breakdown of their financial systems.
