It’s not possible to purify the top product of the isobutane tower; there are diagrams available for reference – I hope an expert can help solve this issue
With only an increase in the feed flow rate and the feed composition remaining unchanged, the reflux ratio staying the same, the purity at the top of the tower will decrease; if the reflux ratio is increased, the purity at the top of the tower may remain unaffected.
This is equivalent to increasing the operating load of the tower; it’s necessary to check whether it exceeds the tower’s design load. If it exceeds the limit, it’s not okay; if it doesn’t exceed the limit, there’s no problem. As the feed rate increases and the reflux ratio is kept constant, the steam volume at the bottom of the tower must be increased.
Based on the temperature of each tray in the tower, especially the temperature of the most sensitive tray, the vapor at the bottom of the tower is sent upward along with the material, and the reflux rate is also increased； Problems with the basic skills of senior employees ； Normal fluctuations are no problem, but prolonged overload is definitely not acceptable ；
