The function of the top reflux tank is to control the temperature at the top of the tower. For water-cooled operation, production water is used; the top reflux pump is not involved in this process. It is used for recovering the liquid phase resulting from the cooling of the vapor at the top of the tower after the reboiler is put into use.
The reflux tank can be filled with water separately and then returned to the tower, or a temporary line can be used for circulation from the top of the tank
Connect the desalinated water separately; once the liquid level rises, start the pump to initiate circulation.
