Does anyone know about water towers and water pumps?

The customer chose an 80T water tower for me, with a water pump having a capacity of 60 m3/h. Isn’t it supposed to be 80 m3/h?
It’s not as if the water from the tower has to be delivered all in one hour
Is a 60m3 pump enough?
The flow rate is determined by your water consumption; if you use 100 cubic meters per hour, it will definitely not be sufficient.
Depending on the actual requirements of the process, the water tower only indicates the required volume; the flow rate of the pump refers to the amount of water that needs to be pumped out per hour in reality.
A water tower is merely a container for storing water, and it automatically replenishes the water in the floors that use it thanks to the difference in height. Pumps are used to transport water from the ground up to the water tower, and both the capacity of the water tower and the flow rate of the pumps are determined based on the daily water consumption.
