Our factory is facing a separation challenge that needs to be resolved: it involves 3-chloro-o-xylene and 4-chloro-o-xylene, with the ratio of 3-position to 4-position being 45:55; The boiling points of these two substances differ by very little; the boiling point of the 3-position compound is around 194°C, while that of the 4-position compound is around 192°C.
