I would like to ask everyone how the wastewater generated again in chelating resin towers is currently utilized, and in what areas it is used. What treatments are required if brackish water needs to be concentrated?
What are the components of water? Water volume? Intensive brine treatment can be discussed!
Is it generally used in the desalination process to dissolve raw salt?
We plan to use more brine going forward, and intend to send the wastewater from the resin tower regeneration process to the MVP brackish water concentration unit. Will the parameters of the concentrated brine exceed the specified limits, or are there any other treatment methods available?
Acidic saline water is not recommended for direct re-salination in the saline system; alkaline wastewater can be used. For enterprises with brine mines, it is recommended to retrieve brine from the salt mines.
The regenerated acid and alkali wastewater can have the acids and alkalis recovered from it first, and the brine can then be sent to a purification process; this approach offers better economic benefits. It is also possible to neutralize the wastewater directly before sending it to purification;
Acid-containing wastewater is fed into the dechlorination tower to replace part of the hydrochloric acid, while alkali-containing wastewater is sent to the primary brine salting process.
Wastewater with low salt content is sent directly to disposal, while that with high salt content is sent for desalination
Is it Asahi Kasei’s process? If so, then D-165 can be used directly for desalination ; The wastewater from D-166 is acidic; it can be neutralized with alkali to a slightly alkaline level before being sent to the salt production process. The consequence of such long-term use is an increase in chlorates within the brine system, especially toward the end of the cell’s lifespan
Which chlor-alkali plant do you work for? For a process like yours, what is the amount of water required when adding resin-regenerated acidic water, while ensuring the correct pH level? Does it affect the temperature at which the dechlorination tower operates? ?
