Compare the feed components before the time point when changes were detected in the sampling analysis with those under normal conditions, to determine whether the changes are caused by variations in the feed components or by any operations carried out at the site during that period that affected the feed
Or could there be changes in steam pressure and temperature?
With no changes in the raw material components or the conditions of the utility systems, please check the following: 1. Whether the temperature sensing elements are functioning properly, including whether the cold-junction temperature compensation of the thermocouples is adequate, and whether mechanical zeroing or a compensation bridge is required; 2. Is air cooling or water cooling used for the tower top reflux? If it is air-cooled, the low air temperature at night may cause fluctuations in the return temperature ; 3. Has the reflux flow at the top of the tower changed? 3. If the temperature at the top of the tower is high while the temperature in the middle part of the tower is low, it may be due to channeling occurring in the upper packing layer or an uneven distribution of the liquid phase in the top distributor, such as blockages in certain parts of the distributor ;
1. The temperature sensor is fine. 2. The water cooling system is also okay. 3. The flow rate of return fluid is very stable. 4. I inspected the tower; the distributor is not problematic, and it seems there’s no issue with the flow in the packing as well, since everything was fine during the day but the temperature in the tower dropped at night.

Could it be that the insulation material in the upper section has become damp?
