I would like to ask everyone: for equal-diameter towers, how should segmentation be considered when the tower is quite tall? Taking stainless steel towers as an example, into how many sections are they generally divided during calculations, and by how many millimeters should the wall thickness difference between each section be? I welcome active discussions from everyone so that we can learn together!

In practice, an equal distribution is generally adopted, taking into account transportation capacity and lifting capacity.
We usually use sections of 10 meters each, with a maximum length of 30 meters – this is also for transportation reasons. Thank you! I’ve learned something new again!
On the one hand, transportation considerations need to be taken into account; on the other hand, the division must be based on the actual height of the tower and the calculation results. There are no mandatory standards for how this division should be carried out, and in theory, as long as the calculations meet the requirements, it is considered legitimate. The difference lies merely in the question of \"how to divide it more reasonably under legal circumstances\"; the approach is actually to conduct calculations first, determining the thickness required for the lowest section of the cylinder as well as the thickest part at the top, and once the thickness difference is known, it’s simply a matter of arranging things reasonably in between.
