The first batch of tower equipment for the air separation unit of Fujian Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd.’s large-scale gasification project was successfully delivered to the project site. In early June, the first batch of tower equipment for this project arrived at the site; these devices consisted of 4 tower sections supplied by Hangzhou Hangyang Company, namely the upper section of the upper tower, the lower section of the upper tower, the lower tower, and the upper section of the crude argon tower. The largest dimensions of the first batch of tower units delivered were Φ4850*28200 mm, with the heaviest individual unit weighing 113 tons. Fujian Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd. is affiliated with Fujian Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. and was officially established in January 2017. Located in the chemical industry park in the western part of Fuqing Jiangyin Industrial Cluster, it is carrying out a project to build a gasification facility with an annual capacity of 690,000 tons of ammonia. As the key project in the planning of the Jiangyin Chemical Park and a major development project for Fuhua Group during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, this large-scale gasification project will, upon completion, supply basic chemical raw materials such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and liquid ammonia to the chemical enterprises located downstream in the park. The company has also built a large-scale air separation unit in the Jiangyin Chemical Park, which produces gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, compressed air, and instrument air. Once operational, this facility will help reduce the operating costs of various manufacturing enterprises in the Jiangyin industrial zone and enhance the competitiveness of the products produced there. Large-scale gasification projects utilize state-of-the-art process technologies; the gasification process makes use of the internationally advanced and mature pressurized coal slurry gasification technique. These projects feature high levels of production control, are safe and reliable, allow for easy implementation of process automation and computer control, have simple waste treatment methods, and are environmentally friendly ; PSA hydrogen production utilizes advanced domestic technology, features a high level of automation, and is capable of automatically detecting faults and switching off the unit accordingly, ensuring safe and reliable operation ; The air separation unit utilizes first-class complete set equipment technology. It adopts a process flow featuring full-low-pressure molecular sieve adsorption, refrigeration through pressurized turbine expansion, full distillation for argon production, and dual internal compression for oxygen and nitrogen separation; this technology is mature, ensures safe operation, and facilitates easy handling.
