The temperature profile in the vacuum tower bed is reversed; seeking solutions

What is the reason for the inverted temperature distribution in the lower part of the bed at the bottom of the vacuum tower in the hydrorefining unit, where the temperature there is lower than that in the upper part of the bed? There is a liquid collection tank above the bed, and after a sample is taken from that area, hot reflux flows back to the lower part of the bed. I’m not sure what causes this inverted temperature pattern; I would be very grateful if experts could help explain this.
This situation should not occur under normal conditions. Possible reasons: 1. An issue with the thermocouple readings; check with the instrument to see if the thermocouple compensation is functioning properly； 2. Severe backflow deviation can occur; problems with the distributor or packing may also lead to this phenomenon ； 3. Is a reboiler or stripping steam used at the bottom of the tower? If steam stripping is used, this is normal
