The hydrogen sulfide concentration in the rich liquid is 2.4; there is 13 tons of steam at the bottom of the tower, the tower pressure is 0.08 MPA. The temperature at the bottom cannot rise above 120 degrees, while the temperature at the top is quite high at 115 degrees. Meanwhile, the hydrogen sulfide concentration in the lean liquid is as high as 1.6
Take some rich liquid and check if it foams.

Replace it with acidic water from outside; check the specific design load – it seems there might be a slight overload
For your operating conditions, it is recommended to conduct the following analysis by ruling out possibilities one by one: 1. The bottom temperature of the tower is not low, but the top temperature is high, which indicates poor mass and heat transfer between the gas and liquid phases. Is there a problem with the tray? 2. Are there issues such as foaming of the solvent itself, insufficient concentration, and high losses? Is quality analysis of the relevant solvents carried out regularly? 3. A large amount of steam at the bottom of the tower does not necessarily mean that the heating capacity is high; the quality and suitability of the steam traps at the rear play a role in determining the heat exchange efficiency, so please check them. 4. Are the previous processes operating normally, especially are the furnace temperature and ratio within normal ranges?
