The feed composition in a distillation column has a significant impact on it; when the content of heavy components in the feed is too high, what is the reason for the decrease in the temperature at the reboiler outlet?； What causes the tower top temperature to drop when there is an excess of light components? I would like to ask the experts here
1. When the content of heavy components in the feed mixture is too high, it may be due to insufficient heat load on the reboiler, resulting in a decrease in both pressure and temperature； 2. An increase in the light components leads to a drop in the tower top temperature, because with constant pressure, an increase in the proportion of light components in the tower top mixture results in a decrease in the tower top temperature!
