Why is insulation needed for the tower reflux line and the pipeline behind the cooler? It’s already around 40°C cold – isn’t it more energy-efficient not to insulate?
Let’s see what kind of return you have. Usually, with subcooled reflux, no further heat retention is required. Some involve bubble reflux or partial condensation reflux, and insulation is still required.
