The hydrogenation unit does not have a distillation column; using stripping steam for stripping can result in water being carried over in the diesel product. Therefore, stripping with hydrogen gas was adopted. However, due to the high proportion of gasoline components, the large amount of hydrogen gas used represents a waste. It is requested that stripping with hydrogen gas be discontinued – are there any solutions?
