The acidic gases from diesel hydrogenation at low temperatures and the stable acidic gases are fed into the desulfurization tower; are there any requirements regarding the temperature of the lean liquid and the dry gas? What is the most suitable temperature difference?
It mainly depends on which desulfurization process is used. If it is desulfurization using iron compounds, then the gas temperature should be adjusted to between 40-55°C. The smaller the temperature difference between the solution and the gas, the better. Prevent the balance of water from being disrupted. Use alcohol amine desulfurization; the temperature is around 30-40°C. A lower temperature results in a higher absorption rate, and there are no strict requirements regarding the temperature difference – this is generally the temperature used
Use ethanolamine as the solvent; the temperature of the lean liquid should be between 30 and 40 degrees. Lower temperatures and higher pressures facilitate absorption. The temperature of the dry gas is generally the same as that of the circulating water (if circulating water is used for cooling)
Look at the process principle flowchart; generally, the temperature is controlled between 35 and 40 degrees.
The temperature difference between the dry gas and the lean liquid (MDEA) is within approximately 5°C, for reference only.
