Seeking assistance with data parameters for the SW6 column skirt; it is to be designed in the presence of a frame, but not the specific parameters of that frame – how should the skirt be designed? Frame drawings are required to calculate the frame’s moment of inertia; as a graduate in engineering, one should be proficient in calculating moments of inertia.
I’ve run into this problem too: when the tower is within the frame, the moment of inertia of that frame cannot be calculated. Could any expert give me some guidance?
