On July 16, the internally components for the ammonia synthesis tower, imported directly from Switzerland, arrived at the Shanghai port after a two-month sea shipment. After another 20 days of transportation by road, they were successfully delivered to the Sanning Ethylene Glycol production site in Hubei, where they were unloaded at the designated location. As the core equipment of the ammonia synthesis system, the internal components of this ammonia synthesis tower are chosen from the world-class Swiss brand Cassali, offering mature technology and advanced equipment. The internal components of the synthesis tower feature a three-bed layer and two heat exchange structures, with axial radial air distribution; these characteristics result in a high ammonia conversion rate, less catalyst usage, and lower overall energy consumption. From the structural design of the internal components, raw material procurement, manufacturing, testing, and other stages, the entire process was carried out abroad over a period of 16 months, with delivery being made on time in accordance with the delivery schedule specified in the contract. The timely arrival of the internal components for the ammonia synthesis tower represents a key milestone in the construction of the purification and synthesis area, creating favorable conditions for the subsequent equipment installation.
