On September 25, 2011, the 60,000-ton per year polyoxymethylene production project of Shenning Group, which was under the general contracting of Wuhuan Company, successfully completed the entire production process in one go; the trial run with feed materials was successful, and qualified polyoxymethylene products were produced. It is reported that the project officially commenced construction in August 2009, with an investment of 1.69 billion yuan and a land area of 12 hectares. It utilizes **Fuyi Company’s polyoxymethylene production process; the production process includes steps such as formaldehyde preparation, formaldehyde concentration, pentaerythritol formation, and polymerization, and it consumes 84,000 tons of methanol per year.
What is the current progress of Shenhua Ningmei? It was said that the product would be released at the end of the year; has it been released yet?
Does Shenning produce 1.8 million tons of methanol per year? What else is methanol used for in production? Sell it directly?

Downstream of Shenhua Ningmei’s coal products are dimethyl ether, MTO, polyoxymethylene, etc.; there is no external sales of these products, as the demand exceeds what can be produced for internal use.
With an annual production of 60,000 tons of polyoxymethylene, 84,000 tons of methanol are consumed – is such a consumption level too high?
