I’ve been away from the workplace for almost 2 years, and I’d like to get an idea of the current market situation. Being laid off two years ago indicated that the company’s performance was declining; now instead of laying off employees, they are keeping them on standby while seeking new candidates. I wonder what about other industries?
Chinese companies are highly resilient; they can survive with extremely low profits, and even in the absence of profits, they can hold on for a while thanks to subsidies and loans. There are also some startup projects that exist solely to steal investors’ money and put it in their own pockets. It has little to do with workers; just do your job well and get your salary. When your expectations don’t match your abilities, it’s pointless to think too much about it
