Originally, technological progress was meant to liberate humanity, allowing people to avoid the hard work of the past. But the reality is that although production efficiency has increased, individuals have to do much more work than before, which makes them even more tired, and they have even less free time in their lives. Previously, the workplace was in a fixed location, and working hours were set. Now, any place can be a workplace; any time can be working hours. Before, it was easy to get sick when not working; now, I’m sick all over the body even after working. The original intention behind developing technology was to liberate humanity, but as technology has advanced, humans remain slaves, only changing from one form of slavery to another. So, does technology bring happiness or disaster to humanity? Technology is divided into science and technology; science is the understanding of the world, while technology are the tools used for doing tasks. Technology advances as science develops. The higher the technology, the greater its power; therefore, corresponding ideas and systems are needed to restrain it, otherwise the immense power of technology will turn against humanity. This is also why, the more technology advances, the more painful life becomes for people. The humanities must progress alongside technological advancement, and technology must be people-centered – it should be humans who control technology, rather than technology controlling humans ； Only in this way can technological development serve the happiness of humanity.
