For a fixed pump with a rated flow rate of 230 m³/h and a head of 130 m, while keeping the shaft power constant: if the outlet pipe is changed from 300 mm to 200 mm, will the flow rate and head change, assuming no loss due to resistance?? 2: What if we consider resistance? What changes will happen again
Ignoring friction losses, the head should remain unchanged, while the flow rate decreases!
