When the low-pressure ash water pump stops, the backup pump is started. The time required from the stop of the operating pump to the start of supply by the backup pump is not long; it’s at most 10 minutes, and in some cases it might even be less than 5 minutes. This is a moment that tests management and operational skills. It seems that, based on the question posed by the original poster, there are no backup pumps left; in such a case, the system must stop operating, right? If an emergency stop is carried out in this way, it is rather troublesome to handle the situation. After stopping the system, it is best not to release pressure from it or to control the pressure-release rate as slowly as possible, so as to minimize gas flow within the system; this can significantly reduce the amount of water that needs to circulate. If I remember correctly, the deoxygenated water tank has an inlet for desalinated water and an inlet for low-temperature condensate; keep these two water inlets at full capacity, and let the graywater tank overflow if it does. The system should be brought to a stop slowly in this way; there’s no need to rush the pressure reduction, otherwise problems will arise with the chiller pump again.
