Are there any things to keep in mind when using a sludge removal wire plug, such as the material issues related to the pump body?
No way, taking proper precautions against condensation and freezing in winter should be no problem.
I don’t understand; doesn’t a threaded plug freeze more easily?
The pump generates mechanical heat when it is running; how can it freeze?
Generally, pumps of this type won’t crack from freezing as long as they keep running; in fact, from what I’ve seen, no such cracking has occurred. Cracking happens only when the pump stops operating and condensation builds up. If it’s installed outdoors, make sure to take some measures to insulate it
It is not recommended to change this. There are many ways to prevent freezing and condensation; measures such as preheating with a low flow rate can be employed. Prolonged disuse can also empty the medium. When making holes in the pump casing or performing welding operations, stress changes need to be taken into consideration; the casing may deform or even crack due to these stresses, which is not worth it
