Discussion on the outlet pressure gauge of reciprocating pumps.

The outlet pressure of the reciprocating pump fluctuates between 0.8 MPaG and 1.1 MPaG; the gauge range selected is 2.5 MPaG, and the reciprocating frequency of the pump is 100 times per minute. The pressure gauge is a diaphragm type gauge, with the diaphragm made of tantalum. It takes about 3-4 days before the diaphragm breaks; this is suspected to be due to diaphragm fatigue. I would like to ask everyone, are there any particular considerations when selecting diaphragm pressure gauges for this operating condition?
Consider 1) keeping the shut-off valve opening as small as possible； 2) Install dampers ；
