Check whether the inlet pipe is blocked! By closing the outlet valve, can the pressure reach or exceed the rated value? In other words, it’s about determining whether the pump’s own head can achieve the rated head How long is the self-priming time? If a self-priming pump leaks air, it will be unable to draw liquid; there should be no flow, and the head pressure will be insufficient. Since it can be drawn up, the issues of insufficient self-priming height and air leakage in the pipeline are ruled out. Check whether our company’s technical staff selected an undersized model when you made the choice. Could you please tell me about your operating conditions?
Thank you. It’s a model with a capacity of 10 cubic meters and a lift height of 20 meters; it’s used to transport lime water similar to clean water, with basically no particles in it. The pump isn’t small; this issue arose after it had been in use for over a month, while another pump under the same operating conditions is performing well.
Over time, lime water will tend to accumulate on the impeller and inside the pump chamber. Open the pump chamber to check; if the problem persists, please contact our company to arrange after-sales service.
