Issue of dual power sources for fire pumps

There is a project that needs to be renovated. During the expansion work, it was found that the amount of fire-fighting water required was too high; therefore, a new fire-fighting water tank needs to be installed, and the existing fire pumps need to be modified to operate in a two-in-one-with-one-backup configuration. Due to the limitations of the existing power supply, there is insufficient electricity; two electric pumps are used as the main pumps, with diesel serving as a backup. Standards such as GB50974, GB51156, and 50160 require the use of dual power sources, but the emergency power supply is not sufficient to power both pumps at the same time. Currently, it is planned to have one unit powered by emergency electricity and another by main power, with diesel as a backup. Does this meet the requirement for dual power sources? By dual power sources, does it mean that both fire pump sets need to have dual power sources, or is it sufficient if just one of the main pumps has dual power sources? I believe a electric and diesel pump can meet the requirements for dual power supply. But for a project we worked on in Hunan, the drawing review expert required that electric pumps with both electric and diesel power sources still need to be equipped with a dual power supply. Everyone has a different understanding of the regulatory provisions. So it works in some places, but not in others.
