The material outlet pressure is related to the gas source pressure, and is generally lower than the gas source inlet pressure.
When the gas source pressure is high, the outlet pressure of the pump is also high, and as a result the pump’s flow rate increases; there is no linear relationship between these pressures.

It works on the same principle as the head of a regular pumping pump. 1. Determine the head required by the system based on the design flow rate. 2. Next, consider the pressure of the compressed air being used; if it is 7 BarG, then look at the curve corresponding to 7 BarG on the performance curve of the diaphragm pump. 3. Start with the designed flow rate and check what the head value is on the curve; if this value is greater than the calculated head, it means that the flow rate delivered by the pump can meet the requirements. 4. For greater accuracy, the flow rate can be increased and the calculations can be repeated until the head value corresponding to that flow rate is identical to the calculated head value. 5. The outlet pressure of the pump is the head value plus the inlet pressure.
It is generally less than the pressure at the gas supply inlet, but there is no specific formula for calculating it.
