Pipeline pumps and horizontal centrifugal pumps

Why do pipeline pumps have the same inlet and outlet diameters, while the outlet diameter of many other pumping and compressing devices is smaller than their inlet diameter? Do pipeline pumps have couplings? Why are pipeline pumps generally used for pumping water, and why are most of them single-stage? Pump pipes are compact and convenient; they require no foundation, and their installation and maintenance are easy. Then why can’t they completely replace horizontal cantilever single-stage centrifugal pumps?
A pipeline pump is a special type of centrifugal pump
Although pipeline pumps are easy to install and compact, larger ones are very difficult to maintain; the motor has to be removed each time, and it is quite heavy! Its stability is worse than that of horizontal pumps; the lower the support point, the more stable it is, right? Pump types vary, so some have couplings while others do not, depending on the requirements!
I would like to ask whether all cast-iron pipeline pumps have the same inlet and outlet? Are there any pumps that take in 100 and output 80?
