A small amount leaks into the system, increasing the boiler’s drainage volume; pay attention to the system’s pH and conductivity； Repair the pump promptly.
I’ve never encountered that; the pump must have been disassembled for inspection
The shaft seal cooling water on the suction side of the feedwater pump may leak into the inlet of the first-stage impeller of the feedwater pump, thereby mixing into the feedwater. Therefore, the shaft seal cooling water for power plant feedwater pumps is high-quality deionized water that is used in a closed-loop system (with a closed-loop cooling water tank); heat is removed from this water using specialized surface heaters.
