The company has one set of exhaust gas absorption equipment, which uses a water ring vacuum pump to draw out the exhaust gases from the system. During shutdowns, water often enters the intake buffer tank. Upon investigation, it was found that the inlet valve was not closed before shutting down, which allowed water to flow back into the buffer tank. Therefore, it is planned to install a check valve; however, after consulting various sources, there is a type of vacuum check valve, and it’s not clear whether this will be effective
