There is a buffer tank at the outlet of the vacuum pump, which can separate steam and water.
The can is a soda-water separation tank. The suction port is the flange port facing upward, and the horizontal one is the exhaust port, which is connected to the soda-water separation tank.

The gas goes from the top of the tank to the back-channel system, and the water remains in the tank. There is a connecting pipe between the tank and the pump body, so that the two always maintain a certain liquid level.
