It needs to be taken into account that due to differences in medium density, different motor powers must be selected; otherwise, the motor may experience overcurrent. Overcurrent often occurs when diesel and gasoline pumps are operated in online water-cooled mode.
The density of the medium must certainly be taken into consideration; on one hand, it is necessary to select an appropriate motor power, and on the other hand, it is essential to calculate the pressure at the pump outlet. For media with a high density, the pressure at the pump outlet will be high for the same head, whereas it will be lower in the case of media with a low density.
