As stated in the title, there are currently 3 water intake pumps (2 in use and 1 as a backup) that deliver water into the intake channel, which is connected to the membrane tank in order to maintain a relatively stable water output volume; The 3 water pumps are under variable-frequency control, and ultrasonic level sensors are installed in the inlet channel. In the water treatment process, it is necessary to maintain a relatively stable water level in this channel – how can this be achieved? Is it necessary to set a high liquid level value H and a low liquid level value L? Should the water pump operate at full frequency when the liquid level is low, and at a lower frequency when the liquid level is high?

It’s a bit wasteful to use variable frequency control for all three pumps; since two are in operation and one is on standby, it would be sufficient to use full-frequency control for one pump and variable frequency control for the other two, thereby saving money on inverters! I’m going off-topic here. Set the frequency converter to control the outlet water pressure (so as to keep the outlet pressure constant), and install an automatic valve on the pump’s outlet pipe in conjunction with a level gauge in the inlet channel for regulation; this way, the liquid level can be maintained constant. This also achieves the goal of saving energy by using a frequency converter. If your aim is merely to control the liquid level, it’s possible to do that without using a frequency converter either. However, I don’t have a control valve installed on the outlet pipe of my water pump at the moment; I’m thinking of using the feedback from the liquid level signal to regulate the flow rate of the pump in order to keep the liquid level relatively stable. Is this feasible? How does it need to be implemented?
