Are there any requirements regarding the location of the check valve at the pump outlet and the circulation interface for centrifugal pumps? To create a loop and prevent the pump from running idle, I would like to ask: should it be placed before the check valve or after it? Are there any requirements? Seeking help
There is a branch with a ball valve, which is used for circulation in order to prevent the pump from running idle. I’m not sure if this description is clear enough; please help me understand it. Thank you
Not quite correct. Your pressure gauge is located in front of the check valve; there should also be a shut-off valve behind the check valve, but it isn’t shown in the diagram. With your current method of drawing, the readings on the pressure gauge are inaccurate. The return port should be placed in front of the check valve.
