Installation requirements and usage methods for stainless steel magnetic self-priming pumps. Installation requirements for stainless steel magnetic self-priming pumps: 1. After unboxing, check the pump’s nameplate to verify that the main parameters of the stainless steel self-priming magnetic pump match the requirements for its use. 2. The self-priming pump should be installed horizontally, and the pump body must not bear the weight of the pipelines. 3. The pump and pipelines should maintain a good seal. 4. Before using the pump, it should be inspected to ensure that the motor blades rotate smoothly, without any stopping or abnormal noises, and that all fastening elements are secure. 5. Unscrew the water addition bolt located above the pump, add water to a volume that is less than two-thirds of the pump’s capacity, then tighten the bolt. 6. Connect it to the power supply and run it for a test; from the motor side, check whether the rotation direction is consistent with the pump’s orientation markings. 7. Before shutting down a stainless steel self-priming magnetic pump, first close the discharge valve, then turn off the power supply, and finally close the suction pipe valve. Usage instructions for stainless steel magnetic self-priming pumps: 1. Since the cooling and lubrication of the bearing in a magnetic pump rely on the medium being transported, it is absolutely forbidden to operate the pump without any fluid flowing through it. Additionally, avoid starting the pump again after a power outage during operation, as this can result in operation with no load. 2. If the medium being pumped contains solid particles, a filter screen should be installed at the pump inlet; if ferromagnetic particles are present, a magnetic filter is required. 3. The ambient temperature during the operation of the pump should be below 40°C, and the motor’s temperature rise must not exceed 75°C. 4. The medium being transported and its temperature should be within the limits permitted by the pump material. 5. For media whose conveyed liquid tends to precipitate and crystallize, it should be cleaned promptly after use to drain all the accumulated liquid from the pump. 6. After the self-priming pump has been in operation for 500 hours, it is necessary to inspect the wear condition of the bearings and the axial moving ring at the end face. If the clearance between the bearings and the shaft sleeves is greater than 0.5 to 1 mm, or if the impeller shifts axially by 0.5 to 2 mm, the bearings and the axial moving ring should be replaced.
