A Roots vacuum pump (abbreviated as Roots pump) is a variable-volume vacuum pump that features two lobed rotors rotating in opposite directions but synchronously; there are small gaps between the rotors as well as between the rotors and the inner wall of the pump casing, preventing direct contact between them. Rotary vacuum pumps have withstood long-term operation in various applications such as the petroleum, chemical, plastic, and pesticide industries, as well as in tasks related to the dynamic balancing of turbine rotors and in aerospace space simulation; therefore, they should be widely promoted and utilized in China. It is also widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, and textiles. Vacuum pump accessories are used for reducing the noise generated by vacuum pumps, namely vacuum pump silencers. Working principle: A roots-type pump is a vacuum pump without internal compression; it usually has a very low compression ratio, which is why high and medium vacuum pumps require a pre-pump. A vacuum pump that achieves pumping by using the pushing force generated by the synchronous, opposite rotation of a pair of leaf-shaped rotors within the pump chamber to move gas. A Roots vacuum pump is a mechanical vacuum pump that features a pair of shoe-shaped rotors rotating at high speeds in synchronization; it cannot evacuate air on its own, and a pre-stage device equipped with an oil seal or water ring is required to allow direct discharge to the atmosphere. Its structure and working principle are similar to those of a Roots blower; during operation, its suction port is connected to the vessel being evacuated or to the main pump of the vacuum system. Our company is a manufacturer specialized in producing Roots blowers, and our Roots vacuum pumps are also one of our key products. We welcome you to visit our factory.
