Experts, what could be the reasons why a horizontal screw vacuum pump fails to create a vacuum during operation?
I produce dry screw vacuum pumps here; I don’t know much about wet screw pumps, but their structural principles are likely similar. 1. Check for any leaks from the vacuum chamber to the pump inlet. 2. Verify that the seal at the pump shaft end is in good condition. 3. Inspect the pump screw and the pump body to ensure that excessive gaps have not arisen due to corrosion or wear caused by the medium
1. Check whether the filter screen is clogged. 2. Check if the motor current is overloaded. 3. Check what level of vacuum can be achieved and whether there are any leaks in the system.
Check whether it is related to excessive gaps between the male and female screws, between the screws and the cylinder, as well as at the end faces of the screws
Check whether the motor is rotating in the wrong direction
Check the clearance of the rotor casing, as well as the forward and reverse rotation of the pump
