Hydraulic oil pump pressure returns to zero

The hydraulic oil pump (gear pump) in the clearance adjustment system of the hydrogen production feed gas compressor often experiences vacuum conditions, with the outlet pressure dropping to zero; the problem resolves after venting, but it recurs after some time. The manufacturer was unable to identify any issues and suggested that the pump’s performance is insufficient. Does anyone have any suggestions?
If the outlet pressure of the gear pump returns to zero, the cause can be investigated at the inlet: first, it could be due to the filter; second, it might be because the viscosity of the lubricating oil or the presence of impurities has changed
Isn’t the inlet pipe pool too narrow? Was it added later? Enlarge the inlet pipe to increase the oil filtration capacity of the inlet filter.
